I went to their once a year meeting in Puerto Vallarta, mexico June 2014.It was about $800 plus room was extra and flight there..so it was about $2,500 their seminars are informative and it seems that most of the complaints are about refunds on their magazine.

The seem to have lots of legitimate connections to real estate people and lawyers and companies suggesting investing in valuable minerals. I find non of this offensive.

Also if you pay by credit card for any of their stuff you have 30 days to ask for a full refund and if you don't get it why did you not contact your credit card company??Quit whining and do something about it

The most disappointing about positive experience from International Living was price was a bit high , but reviewer liked seminar in mexico very good. I have been reading online a number of their posts on Panama living and was thinking about going to see Panama City and perhaps some other places they mentioned as possible retirement locations.

Does anyone live there now or has lived there as an expat? I would appreciate some comment especially as to realistic living costs. quality of life, acceptance by locals, etc.

Thanks
