Value for money

I have bought a condohotel in the Bahia Principe Resort at Rivieria Maya, Mexico, largely based on several articles written in the International Living magazine. I paid just short of $200,000, and found it hilarious when international living posted follow up articles claiming that the resale price had increased by 50% based on listings, not on actual sales.

The fact is, these units are unsaleable. Bahia Principe continually makes material changes in efforts to rip off the owners, and all the benefits and features that international living wrote about are non existent. These listing prices have dropped lower and lower, and these units are impossible to sell (in fact one owner gave his to charity) yet international living still claims price appreciation.

Obviously they get large referral fees. Stay clear of their recommendations
